Why is Felton & Peel considered a fee-based firm, not fee-only?
Felton & Peel operates like a "fee-only" firm within its financial planning and asset management services. But because we are also a licensed insurance agency, we cannot be considered 100% fee-only, as fixed insurance products can pay commissions — hence the term fee-based.

Are you a registered investment advisor?
Felton & Peel Wealth Management, Inc. is an investment advisor registered to conduct business in the states of Georgia and New York. We also operate in other states pursuant to regulatory exemptions. One question you should always ask a firm is for a copy of their Form ADV Part 2 — see our Disclosures page for ours. The term "Registered Investment Advisor" does not imply any level of skill or training.
Who is not a good fit for Felton & Peel?
If you're looking for a firm that can "beat" the stock market, or you're interested in trying to time the market, we are probably not a good fit for each other. We believe wealth is created through patience and discipline over many years, meeting or exceeding the goals outlined in your financial plan.
